Barcelona’s new acquisition on Sunday morning, Raphinha scored the only goal as Barcelona defeated Real Madrid in Las Vegas. The Brazil international joined the La Liga giants from Leeds United earlier this month in a deal for up to £55 million. In two pre-season games in the United States, he has now scored two goals.
His goal came in the 27th minute after intercepting a backpass from Real’s Eder Militao to secure the victory in a game in which Robert Lewandowski made his Barcelona debut. Before he scored a world-class screamer against Real Madrid, he destroyed Antonio Rudiger completely.
