Roy Keane and Souness have condemned Manchester United players that they get managers sacked in the club due to their poor performances and unseriousness after they got trashed again by in form Liverpool side.
Liverpool ran riot at Anfield, as expected when they stuffed their rivals 4-0 – just a goal short of their thrashing at Old Trafford earlier in the season. Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane all got on the scoresheet – the former grabbing a brace – to put the Reds temporally top of the Premier League.
And for the former Red Devils captain Keane, it just underlined his thoughts on the current squad – which is a million miles from the one he commanded 20 years ago. He said after the match: “I think it was anger at the start at the season, now I just think it is sadness. You look at the team today, there was no heart, no soul, no leaders.
“They lacked quality, they were so far off. If you look at the Manchester United fans, they don’t look surprised by the scoreline. They kept going to the end but you felt as though Liverpool could score whenever they wanted when they went forward.
