Fabrizio Romano has provided us with an update that will be music to the ears of Manchester United fans and new boss Erik ten Hag – with Frenkie de Jong and Lisandro Martinez now looking likely to join the club.
“Big news for Manchester United!” says Romano. “Because a new signing is coming. Here we go, he’s really coming. Lisandro Martinez, the centre-back from Ajax, is joining for a fee of €50million plus €5million in add-ons.
