Update: Chelsea suffer massive injury blow ahead of the next tough match as Thomas Tuchel confirms 4 first team players missing

Antonio Rudiger is expected to miss Chelsea’s match against West Ham this weekend, according to Thomas Tuchel. The Germany international was absent from Chelsea’s squad for their 4-2 defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday.

Tuchel announced after the game that Rudiger will not be available for the match against the Hammers, which has become something of a must-win for the Stamford Bridge club.  Per the London Evening Standard, the manager said: “Not good, I don’t think he will play against West Ham.”

Other players that are suffering from injury are; Ben Chilwell (Knee Injury), Hudson-Odoi C.
(Achilles Tendon Injury). Kovacic M (Ankle Injury). They are all likely to miss Chelsea’s next match against Westham United.

Chelsea’s recent run has been erratic, with the Blues losing two of their previous three league games, losing to Brentford and Arsenal respectively, but smashing Southampton in the interim.

The Gunners are now five points ahead of the Hammers, with David Moyes’ side have played one game fewer.

The Irons have injury problems of their own this weekend, with Angelo Ogbonna, Kurt Zouma, and Issa Diop all out.
