Eriksen’s addition might be vital in the race for Martinez, who is also rumored to be on Arsenal’s radar, according to Jones, who stated to GIVEMESPORT that United’s targets want reassurance over other signings being made.
Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: “With Eriksen pretty much done, that’s great news for them, especially with Lisandro Martinez. Every person United are trying to sign has wanted assurances that somebody else was coming in at the same time as them or quickly after.”
