Report: Three players Manchester United could complete their signings this week

Manchester United could complete the signing of three players before they leave for Thailand on Friday, with Feyenoord left-back Tyrell Malacia poised to become the first arrival.

The 22-year-old has already had his medical, and the club will soon make the transfer official. Malacia has already spoken out about leaving the Eredisivie, claiming he has had his sights set on a move to Old Trafford for a very long time.

Christian Eriksen‘s signing, who appears to have made a final choice on his future after leaving Brentford, might come shortly after Malacia’s arrival.

Officials at United were impressed by Eriksen’s remarkable turnaround at the London club, and it is now being reported that he has verbally accepted to join the team.

The three-year United offer is believed to have been accepted by the Danish international, who is anticipated to join after passing a medical.

And if United’s aspirations come true, Eriksen won’t be the week’s final addition. The Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez is a top target for Ten Hag.

Ten Hag has often preferred a left-footed centre-back paired with a right-footed one but all of United’s six senior players in that department are right-footed, hence the interest in Martinez.

After lodging a formal bid for the Argentian, it’s now being reported that United would like to seal his arrival before Friday, when United leave for their pre-season tour in Thailand.

The deal could, however, be complicated by Arsenal’s interest but Ten Hag’s relationship with the defender could work in United’s favour.
