Report: Manchester United eyeing blockbuster deal for £76m superstar who earns £606k-a-week

Manchester United are hoping to sign Brazilian superstar Neymar this summer in a mega-deal. According to The Mirror, PSG star Neymar is being considered as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, if the 37-year-old leaves Man United in this summer transfer window.

If Ronaldo does depart United, Ten Hag must bring in another top-tier forward. And he appears to be planning to replace the 37-year-old with another game-changing talent.

According to the Mirror, if Ronaldo leaves, the Brazilian superstar might be a viable alternative for Manchester United this summer.

In 144 games with Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar has 100 goals and 60 assists. And his career totals of 275 goals and 171 assists in 464 games are quite amazing.

A deal for Manchester United to sign Neymar would take funds of huge proportions when taking his salary and signing on fee into account as well as the money that PSG will demand from him.

This is one that United should steer clear of in our view. If the Red Devils are to make genuine strikes under Ten Hag, the transfer policy of recruiting players who are well past their best needs to change, and fast.
