Brighton defender Maya Le Tissier is set to join Manchester United in a long-term deal after the Red Devils agreed to pay her release clause.
According to the Telegraph, multiple sources have confirmed the fee to be in the region of £50,000 – £60,000 for Le Tissier to join United. The report adds that the paperwork is close to being concluded.
This comes as an exciting signing for manager Marc Skinner, who is aiming to lead the women’s side to UEFA Champions League qualification for the first time, after narrowly missing out last term.
BT Sport journalist and commentator Michael McCann claims Le Tissier “has got it all” and believes it’s the sort of signing that can help United get Champions League football.
*Huge* signing for #MUWomen
I’ve been raving about how good Maya Le Tissier is for *years*
She has got it *all*.
