DONE DEAL: Man United have reached total agreement with club to complete the signing of 22-year-old star deal

Manchester United have secured any key signing this summer but Ten Hag should soon be able to strengthen his squad if reports are to be believed.

The Athletic reports that Man United and Feyenoord have reached a total agreement worth 17 million euros to sign Tyrell Malacia.

According to reports, the 22-year-old left-back prefers to work with his father rather than agent Ali Dursun to complete his transfer to Old Trafford. The Athletic maintains that the transaction is still on pace to close.

Man United had one of the worst defensive records in the Premier League last term and the backline must be improved this summer. As far as the left-back position is concerned, Luke Shaw has been our first choice for years, which is surprising because the England international has been highly injury-prone.

Last season, in the Premier League, the former Southampton man only started 19 games. He missed 3 games due to a head injury, 2 due to a hamstring concern, 2 after contracting coronavirus and 7 games due to a leg issue.

However, since joining the team in October 2020, Brazilian sensation Alex Telles has primarily been unreliable. In the past two seasons, he has largely warmed the bench and started just 26 PL games.
Malacia has a goal and four assists in 32 games for the Eredivisie last year.

He was an important contributor to the team that defeated Mourinho‘s Roma in the Europa Conference League final.
