DONE DEAL: FC Barcelona set to announce 25-year-old star on Thursday

Barcelona are on the verge of completing another signing this summer, as they have reached a full agreement with Leeds United for the transfer of Raphinha.

After lengthy talks, Barça and Leeds were able to reach an agreement on the conditions of the transfer, which will see the 25-year-old Brazilian go to Camp Nou in the near future.

Fabrizio Romano says that Barcelona would pay Leeds United €67 million for Raphinha, including add-ons, with the fixed component of the deal amounting to about €58 million.

Now, Spanish journalist Victor Navarro of COPE has come up with details regarding the winger’s medical and unveiling as a Barcelona player.

According to the latest information, Raphinha will arrive in Catalonia today, Wednesday (13 July), to finish his medical and other requirements. The deal, however, will not be made official right away.

However, Barça intends to include the 25-year-old winger in their pre-season tour to the United States of America, which begins on July 16. As a result, Raphinha’s transfer should be officially announced on Thursday or Friday, prior to her journey to the United States.

Victor Navarro backs up Romano’s statements, claiming that Barcelona will not pay more than €60 million in fixed payments to Leeds United for the Brazilian international.
