According to @JonPalmerSport on Twitter, Manchester United youngster Matej Kovar will go on loan to Cheltenham Town of the English Football League.
Kovar is still on the Reds’ preseason tour and will join the League One club on Monday, July 25. Kovar has previously played in the English third division for Swindon Town and Burton Albion, where he made 24 League One games during two loan spells.

Kovar joined United in 2018 from 1. FC Slovácko and his contract with the club extends until 2023, with an option for an extra year.
Erik ten Hag may need to hunt for a backup goalkeeper during the current transfer window, as Dean Henderson has already signed a season-long loan with Nottingham Forest, and Nathan Bishop is set to leave Manchester United on a temporary basis.
If Bishop too departs, Tom Heaton will be United’s lone senior back-up to David de Gea. With Kovar about to depart, it is apparent that he is still not at the level required to be a regular for our senior team.
