Andreas Christensen recently left Chelsea after his contract expired. The Danish defender was a fixture in Thomas Tuchel’s squad, but negotiations for a new deal fell through.
Chelsea will undoubtedly need to go into the defensive market this summer after losing both Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, who both decided to transfer to Spain.
According to the tweet below, Barcelona has now formally announced the signing of Christensen on a contract that lasts until 2026.

It’s reported on Barcelona website reveals that Christensen’s release clause is €500m. The task for Tuchel now is to find adequate replacements for two of his defenders.
