Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is reportedly on his way to Fulham. The news comes from Brazil, where journalist Venê Casagrande claims the player has accepted an offer from the Cottagers, and is set to join the London side on a three-year contract, with an option for a further season.
With an additional potential $3 million in performance bonuses, Fulham is paying Manchester United £9 million for the acquisition.
Cottagers and Red Devils had apparently been in negotiations for some time, and the teams were reportedly only awaiting the midfielder’s approval to finalize the transfer.
Andreas Pereira spent the previous campaign on loan at Flamengo, who, although having a purchase agreement in place with Manchester United, decided not to carry it out.
The player told the Brazilian media that the Old Trafford team will determine his future and declared his intention to remain in Rio de Janeiro, adding he is now a fan of the team.
Despite recently displaying strong form, the 26-year-season old’s in South America was full of ups and downs. It’s time for a fresh opportunity in the Premier League right now.
