According to the latest report, Lisandro Martinez is Man United’s prime target to strengthen the central defense this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have outbid Arsenal for Martinez but their offer is still not good enough to be accepted by Ajax and therefore, the Gunners are not out of the race as yet.
The reputable Italian journalist thinks Ten Hag will continue to be the main selling point for the 24-year-old to join the Red Devils at Old Trafford as they push for a salary agreement.

We undoubtedly need a leader in the backline since our captain, Harry Maguire, was perhaps the league’s most unreliable central defender last year. It won’t be shocking if he gives up the captain’s hat the next year.
